Care

Help with the everyday, from people who know you.

Four kinds of care under one roof, so nobody has to move again if their needs change.

N° 01 — Before anyone moves in

We get to know you first

No one arrives as a stranger. This is how every stay begins.

Week 1

Tea and a look round

Come and see the house, meet Helen and ask everything.

Week 2

We visit you

At home or in hospital, to understand your needs and routines.

Week 3

Your life story

We sit down with family to learn about work, family, likes and dislikes.

Moving day

A room ready for you

Pictures hung, your chair in place and the kettle on.

N° 02 — Health

Nurses on site, a GP every week

A registered nurse is on duty every day and on call every night. Dr Morgan from the Wenlock surgery visits every Wednesday, and we work with the community dementia team and Severn Hospice.

Medicines given and recorded by trained staff

Weekly GP round and same-day call-outs

Physiotherapy and chiropody visits

Dentist, optician and hearing checks at home

Night team of three, with a nurse on call

Not sure what kind of care is right?

Call Helen. She’ll talk it through honestly, even if Bellwood isn’t the right place.
